The Best Sparkler Bomb Tutorial

This is the absolute cheapest and most effective way to make a big boom on 4th of July or any other time of the year. I have spent 4 years perfecting these things and think i have finally found the best and easiest way to make these!I have been wanting to make a video like this for a while. When sitting in my driveway with my brother and girlfriend I figured it would be a perfect time. Had to cut some parts of the video out for time but I plan on making a more formal and descriptive howto video eventually so check back for that. Use electrical tape and “strapping tape” (has fiber glass threads through it). Layers go electrical, strapping, electrical, strapping, electrical, strapping, strapping. Make sure to wrap it TIGHT. As tight as humanly possible; you will probably break the electrical tape a lot at first until you figure out the weight load. Before you start wrapping with tape make sure you pull one sparkler about 2-3 inches in the middle of the bundle. Flatten the rest. Leave the sticks on the Sparklers so you can stick it in the ground and it would be pretty pointless wasting your time to remove them. Stick it in the ground diagonally to the ground so it doesn’t start prematurly and run because the shockwave is intense and there may be shrapnul.

I documented step by step making my sparkler bomb. pretty self explanatory.
if you want to make a Sparkler bomb make SURE of the following!
-you get the colored spakerlers (they burn slower, its what you need)
-get the ones with magnesium (it will say “does NOT have magnesium” if it doesn’t)
-for a good one get at least 200.
-get SEVERAL roles of electrical tape and some duct tape for good measure. about a roll of tape per 40-50 Sparklers i think is good, but other people say to get more. your call. i didnt use that much.
-WRAP THE ENDS VERRRY WELL!!! and here’s why:
as you can see, the end blew out, turning this relatively harmless device into a freaking ballistic missile. i did the math, it took exactly 30 frames (on my 30 frames per second camera) to travel (almost exactly) 200 feet. so obviously thats 200 feet per second.
which is 136 MILES an hour!!!!!! it definitely bent the chain link fence up a little bit. thats enough to do serious damage and cause considerable harm. so WRAP THE ENDS, so it doesn’t turn into a 2 pound rubber bullet.

Update(read if you are going to post a comment):
- I don’t care if we didn’t add enough duck tape.
- I don’t care if you made a bigger one, no one else cares either.
- This is a while ago, we are all well into college now doing what college students do…study and party and don’t give a about sparkler bombs like you do.
- girls are better than making things catch on fire and blowing up stuff
- you should make your own sparkler bomb video, do it better, and don’t tell me about it because i will never type in sparkler bomb on the search bar.

A few friends and I originally did it with just 2 packs of Sparklers and made a decent size explosion so we went to the firework store and bought 60$ worth of them. Our little sparkler bomb made a nice explosion and here it is and we showed our process of making it.
12 Packs 12 boxes in each pack 6 in each box. 864 Sparklers.
